Founded in 2016, Oh Wow! Studio is a Brooklyn-based architectural design practice navigating between architecture, art, and performance. The studio approaches the built environment as a stage—one that shapes behavior, emotion, and meaning, by embracing both sincerity and irony, precision and play.
Our work spans hospitality, commercial interiors, education, and residential projects, including a 58-key hotel in Bali, Indonesia and ground-up K-12 campus building in New York City. Each project features specific emotional proposition rather than as fixed typolgy.
The studio is led by Henry Chan, who holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Architecture from Yale. He has taught at the Yale School of Architecture, and previously worked in the international offices of Robert A.M. Stern Architects and Diller Scofidio + Renfro.
