Founded in 2016, Oh Wow! Studio is a Brooklyn-based architectural design practice navigating between architecture, art, and performance. Our design approach treats the built environment as a stage for human experience—one that shapes behavior, emotion, and meaning by embracing sincerity and irony, precision and play.
Our work spans hospitality, commercial interiors, education, and residential projects, including a 58-key hotel in Bali, Indonesia, and ground-up K-12 campus in New York City.
The studio is led by Henry Chan, who holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Architecture from Yale. He has taught at the Yale School of Architecture and the Michael Graves College School of Architecture, and has previously worked in the international offices of Robert A.M. Stern Architects and Diller Scofidio + Renfro.
